MACRO Roma Unveils Summer 2021 Program with 'Exhibition Magazine' Format

MACRO Roma's summer 2021 initiative continues the 'exhibition magazine' concept introduced in 2020. According to Director Luca Lo Pinto, several sections commenced in February, marking an active period. Cultural assessor Lorenza Fruci referred to it as an 'identity flow.' Notable events include 'Musica da Camera' (June 10–August 29) featuring Franca Sacchi, 'Studio Bibliografico' (June 15–September 5) showcasing works by Noah Barker, Éric Baudelaire, and Walid Raad, and 'Polifonia' (June 22–October 10) spotlighting Friedl Kubelka vom Gröller. Julie Peeters heads 'In-Design' (July 8–October 24), while Tony Cokes' 'Solo/Multi' launches on July 15. The 'Retrofuturo' section highlights emerging artists starting July 13. A documentary on Lawrence Weiner debuts June 30, with performances on July 1 and Darren Bader's AR exhibition available until July 31. The 'AGORÀ' series resumes on July 16.
