M HKA Announces 2026 Exhibition Program Featuring Major Retrospectives and Thematic Shows

M HKA in Antwerp has revealed its 2026 exhibition schedule, emphasizing artist-focused programming and engagement with contemporary social issues. The year will feature three major seasonal exhibitions: a spring group show titled 'we refuse_d' examining censorship and refusal (March 13-June 7, 2026), a summer retrospective of Nicola L.'s multidisciplinary work (June 25-October 11, 2026), and an autumn survey of Lee Bul's influential practice (November 12, 2026-February 14, 2027). Additional presentations include installations by Stef Van Looveren and Jean Katambayi Mukendi, alongside collection displays and public programs. The museum continues its tradition of artist-centered curation, founded on donations from artists since 1987.
