Lundgren+Lindqvist Reinvents Book Catalogue with Real Pages from Svensk Bokkonst Winners
At the recent Svensk Bokkonst awards, the Gothenburg-based duo Lundgren+Lindqvist presented a groundbreaking visual catalog. Rather than conventional photography, they deconstructed all twenty-five winning books to feature authentic pages within a prong-bound format. Partnering with Taberg Media Group, they ensured every catalogue reflected real elements of each title. Constructed with materials from Norrmalms Kartongfabrik, the oversized format aligns with the largest award recipient. Utilizing the Tid typeface, designed by Göran Söderström and Stefania Malmsten, the project marries design with a wrapped poster displaying both a winning book and images of library staff at the Royal Library, complemented by signed diploma covers.
