Luise Marchand's first institutional solo in Austria at Camera Austria

Luise Marchand's inaugural institutional solo exhibition in Austria, titled Prospects of Winning, will be showcased at Camera Austria in Graz, commencing on June 19, 2026. Curated by Christin Müller, the exhibition will be open to the public from June 20 until August 30, 2026. Marchand's work is divided into three thematic groups, where she explores the dynamics of desire, the pursuit of capitalist gain, and the conflict between leisure and labor. Utilizing a polished visual style reminiscent of advertising, her photographs, videos, installations, and staged objects provide a critique of work culture, self-improvement, and fatigue. Key themes include snails on currency, luxury lifestyle products, and the representation of workers.
