Luigi Pagliarini's Robotic Installation LEGAMI Displayed at ISIA Pescara

The robotic artwork LEGAMI by artist and scientist Luigi Pagliarini has been installed at ISIA Pescara for the 2025/2026 academic year opening. The piece, originally created for Futuro Remoto 2009 in Naples, features a cycling robot that generates energy to illuminate a plant, symbolizing connections between humanity, technology, and nature. Constructed largely from recycled electronic materials, the installation serves as both artistic statement and sustainability manifesto. This presentation forms part of the 'Refurbish Ninja' urban regeneration project supported by Pescara municipality and national government initiatives. Pagliarini, a pioneer in artistic robotics and neural networks, maintained strong educational ties with ISIA Pescara through workshops and teaching.
