Lucerne School of Design showcases biodegradable urn from florist waste
The latest School Show by Dezeen showcases 13 innovative projects from the Bachelor Object Design program at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art. Notable works include Noemi Curty's 'Kukka Urna', a biodegradable urn crafted from plant waste collected from florists and funeral arrangements. Additionally, Chiara Aeschbacher presents 'Designing Security for FLINTA* People', a tool aimed at de-escalating sexual and gender-based violence. Other highlights are Noah Bühler's 'Eingenistet', a sensory retreat designed for autistic children, and Nicolas Zeller's 'Self-helping Hands', which features weighted objects to assist the elderly with tremors.
