Luca Trapanese's debut novel 'Le nostre imperfezioni' explores love beyond conventions

Luca Trapanese's first novel 'Le nostre imperfezioni' (Salani Editori, 2021) centers on the love story between Livio, a former seminarian and volunteer, and Pietro, an architect with a degenerative disease who uses a wheelchair. Their journey begins along the Camino de Santiago. The narrative delves into love in its many forms: romantic, familial, chosen, and sexual, as well as love for beauty and parenthood. Livio leaves his seminary life and a comfortable villa in Vomero to embrace a relationship with Pietro, also founding the association 'A ruota libera' to assist disabled and terminally ill minors.
