Luca Gioacchino Di Bernardo's solo exhibition 'La notte' at Galleria Tiziana Di Caro in Naples explores the blurred boundaries between human and animal through anthropomorphic figures. The show is divided into sections: 'Sottobosco' presents animal portraits with languid gazes; 'Watching Things Burn' depicts a six-fingered nude beside a weeping dog, reversing traditional hierarchies; 'Il pittore' features a stag referencing Actaeon and Diana amid fragmented bodies; and 'Ossessioni' offers small, rapid drawings as mental fragments. The works, primarily in black and white, use dense ink and graphite to evoke vulnerability, regression, and the artist's internal tensions.
