Luca Alinari Archive Prepares First General Catalogue for 2027 Publication

The Alinari Archive, directed by Filippo Alinari with support from Cristiano Ragni, is preparing to publish the first comprehensive catalogue of Luca Alinari's work within the next year. This publication will document over fifty years of artistic production by Luca Alinari, described as one of Italy's most original and intellectually refined 20th-century painters. His work features dreamlike landscapes, fairy-tale creatures, and vibrant colors that have captivated collectors and critics for decades. Filippo Alinari's personal journey with his father's studio—from childhood playground to adolescent distance to reconnection during Luca's illness—has provided unique insight into both the artwork and the artist himself. The archive team includes Cristiano Ragni's son Matteo and other collaborators working on this extensive cataloguing project.
