Louisiana Contemporary 2026 Selects 45 Artists in Juried Exhibition
The Ogden Museum of Southern Art has revealed the artists chosen for the 2026 Louisiana Contemporary exhibition, funded by The Helis Foundation. Curator Sarah Jones, from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, selected 50 pieces created by 45 artists, including 28 first-time participants. This notable exhibition is slated to take place from August 1, 2026, to February 14, 2027. Since its inception in 2012, Louisiana Contemporary has celebrated and highlighted the work of contemporary artists from across the state of Louisiana, making it an annual focal point for the region's vibrant art scene.
