Lost Art Press Offers Free Shipping on Michael Pekovich's 'Benchwork' for 30 Days

Lost Art Press is offering free shipping on Michael Pekovich's new book "Benchwork" for the next 30 days, with orders placed now shipping the following day. The book is Pekovich's third, and it centers on optimizing work at the bench: it covers building his simple workbench along with tool chests, wall cabinets and shop appliances, including features he calls "risers." Pekovich also details his kit of hand tools and explains how each tool earned its place in his shop. Production follows the publisher's usual standards: heavy coated paper that takes color well, pages sewn together and backed with glue and fiber tape, then a book block wrapped with heavy boards, cloth and a dust jacket. Described as a permanent book, it is made in the USA. Lost Art Press ships only to US addresses; readers outside the United States are directed to buy from the company's retailers or use a mail forwarding service. The publisher hopes all of its retailers will carry "Benchwork," though that decision rests with them. The announcement is signed by Christopher Schwarz.
