Artist Lorenzo Puglisi has created a large-scale sacred painting titled 'Un tempo immobile. Una Crocifissione per San Frassati' for the Oratorio dei Santi Fabiano e Sebastiano in Pollone, Italy. The work, measuring over three meters tall and executed in oil on birch panel, represents Puglisi's first commission for a liturgical space. The project was initiated by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Biella to mark the 125th anniversary of the birth of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, who was baptized in this oratory. The installation will be presented on April 9, 2026, and will remain on view daily. The initiative involves collaboration with multiple organizations including the Fondazione Pier Giorgio Frassati and includes a social project producing communion wafers for local dioceses.
