Little Island Cuts Performance Schedule by Half

Little Island, the outdoor venue on stilts in the Hudson River, New York, has reduced its 2026 performance schedule by nearly half compared to last year. In summer 2025, the park presented 100 performances over four months. This year, it is offering only 56 performances over six weeks. Funder Barry Diller stated he "wants to take programming in a different direction." The change was reported by The New York Times on June 29, 2026.
