LITO and Sotheby's Launch Exclusive Editions with Kehinde Wiley
LITO and Sotheby's have launched a long-term Exclusive Editions program, debuting with six new works by Kehinde Wiley. The partnership aims to redefine the art edition as an original medium, using LITO's proprietary Hi-Rnd technology to capture texture, relief, and chromatic complexity. The inaugural release reimagines Wiley's 2008 painting 'Triple Portrait of Charles II' as a series of editions on mirrored Aludibond panels with engraved floral elements, available in Mirror, Dark Mirror, Gold, and Blue variations. Editions are hand-signed and numbered, with larger formats limited to ten and smaller to twenty examples. The initiative debuted in May 2026 at Sotheby's Breuer Building in New York, in partnership with Forward Global. Cynthia Houlton, Sotheby's Senior Vice President, emphasized that editions offer an accessible entry point into contemporary art. Additional artist collaborations are planned throughout the year.
