Lisa Nandy Retains UK Culture Secretary Role Under New PM
Under the leadership of new Prime Minister Andy Burnham, Lisa Nandy continues her role as UK Culture Secretary. Nandy, who has held the position since July 2024 under previous Prime Minister Keir Starmer, is among the longest-serving culture ministers in recent history. Her responsibilities include overseeing the renewal of the BBC charter and the merger between Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. Additionally, Kanishka Narayan has been appointed as the inaugural minister for AI.
