Linea Personal Releases Sophomore Album 'Todo ø Nada' Blending R&B with Corridos Tumbados

The Mexican American band Linea Personal has released their second studio album 'Todo ø Nada' on March 26, 2026. The 13-track project represents three years of development and incorporates R&B, blues, melodic trap, and corridos tumbados elements. Frontman Gustavo Raya Garcia describes the music as slow, moody, and emotionally resonant, distinguishing their R&B approach from typical corrido artists. Key tracks include 'Motorola' and 'Tarot,' which feature prominent requinto and tololoche instrumentation characteristic of corridos tumbados, and 'Caperuzita,' which opens the album with blues influences and creative interpolations. The band also experiments with jazz trumpet in 'Ülala,' drawing inspiration from Luther Vandross. Linea Personal consists of Gustavo Raya Garcia, his brother Aidan Raya Garcia, requinto player Jorge Ontiveros Zúñiga, and guitarist/producer Edgar Lozoya Verduzco. The album was produced under Street Mob Records, founded by Fuerza Regida's Jesús 'JOP' Ortiz Paz, who signed the band in 2021. Creative development involved lengthy sessions at the label and a retreat to San Carlos, Sonora, where the band initially wrote 50 songs before narrowing to the final tracklist. Lozoya Verduzco noted that explicit content in 'P— Alcohol' required consideration but aligned with their willingness to innovate. The band aims to build on the success of Mexican American contemporaries like Natanael Cano and Fuerza Regida, acknowledging that corridos accounted for 77% of música Mexicana streaming on Spotify in 2023. Linea Personal previously gained attention with 2024 singles 'Holanda' and 'Hennessy.'
