Liberty Art Movement Exhibition Opens at Palazzo Martinengo in Brescia

An exhibition focusing on the Liberty art movement has recently opened at Palazzo Martinengo in Brescia. Curated by Anna Villari, Manuel Carrera, and Davide Dotti, the show presents rarely seen works from private collections alongside paintings, sculptures, ceramics, period clothing, photographs, and film clips. Featured artists include Plinio Nomellini, Felice Casorati, Camillo Innocenti, Vittorio Matteo Corcos, Amedeo Bocchi, Alessandro Battaglia, Giovanni Battista Carpanetto, Gaetano Previati, and Armando Spadini. The exhibition explores the movement's floral motifs, garden themes, and depictions of women, contextualizing Liberty within early 20th-century society. Palazzo Martinengo has attracted 233,000 visitors over four years, with attendance growing 76% since 2022.
