Leipzig Collective [ materialistin ] Debuts at Hamburger Bahnhof

The Leipzig artist group [ materialistin ] has kicked off their exhibition titled "Matter of Care, Care of Matter" at the Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart in Berlin. This event features a collection of sculptures and installations crafted by eight talented female sculptors: Laura Eckert, Enne Haehnle, Elisabeth Howey, Lucy König, Agnes Lammert, Wibke Rahn, Theresa Rothe, and Sophie Uchman. The exhibition emphasizes the significance of collaboration and community in art, showcasing the vibrant variety of contemporary sculpture emerging from Leipzig. The artists work with a wide range of materials, including stone, clay, concrete, and textiles, to create distinctive sculptural pieces that explore the vast possibilities within the sculpture medium.
