KURAT Magazine Launches at Berlin Fashion Week to Spotlight Emerging Designers

During Berlin Fashion Week, a new annual publication focused on fashion and culture, KURAT, was introduced by its founders and editors, Anke Schlöder and Joachim Baldauf. This magazine serves as an extension of the Berlin Curated event, receiving funding from the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. KURAT's mission is to discover, nurture, and curate, highlighting emerging design talents who are transforming visual language and fashion communication. The first issue features 13 up-and-coming fashion designers showcased in a runway event. Christiane Arp, the former Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Germany and co-founder of the Fashion Council Germany, is also involved in promoting local talent. KURAT plans to release three newsletters annually to foster ongoing dialogue among students, fashion enthusiasts, and academic institutions.
