Nonfiction, a fragrance and skincare brand founded by Haeyoung Cha in 2019, has launched its inaugural North American flagship store on Manhattan's Lower East Side. The boutique, designed by the firm Charlap Hyman & Herrero, features a residential-inspired interior with elements like oxblood red tiles, a custom Queen Anne-style table, and works by Korean artists such as Minjae Kim. The store aims to blend into the neighborhood with a timeless aesthetic, reflecting Cha's vision of creating a space that feels established. This expansion follows Nonfiction's existing locations in South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
