Klimt, Schiele, Gerstl Masterpieces on Loan at Leopold Museum
The Leopold Museum in Vienna has added masterpieces by Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, and Richard Gerstl from the Stiftung Sammlung Kamm as 'noble guests' to its permanent exhibition Vienna 1900. The Sammlung Kamm, based in Zug, Switzerland, has placed its works on permanent loan at Kunsthaus Zug. Among the new loans are two Klimt landscapes: Italian Garden Landscape (1913) and Garden Landscape with Hilltop (Parish Garden) (1916), displayed on level 4. On level 3, Gerstl's Group Portrait with Schönberg (1908) is now shown. The fourth loan is by Schiele.
