Klafs Unveils First Retractable Sauna for US Market, Merging German Engineering with Space-Saving Design

Klafs, a German sauna manufacturer founded in 1928, has launched the S1, the world's initial retractable sauna, in the United States. The product expands from a compact 60 cm width to 160 cm in 20 seconds, offering a full sauna experience with features like insulated walls, 8mm glass, and adjustable benches. It includes Klafs' 'Sanarium' control for multiple climate settings, such as heat up to 210°F, and comes in three sizes and finishes like matte black or walnut. CEO Phillip Rock stated that the innovation aims to make luxury sauna ownership accessible in homes with limited space. The launch targets US wellness enthusiasts seeking efficient, high-design solutions.
