King Woman Exhibition Showcases Female Artists at New York's Pen+Brush Gallery

The King Woman exhibition was presented at the Pen+Brush nonprofit gallery in New York from October 12 to December 9, 2017. Curated by Mashonda Tifrere, the show featured works by numerous female artists across painting, photography, and sculpture. The exhibition aimed to highlight women artists who challenge historical narratives and societal limitations, presenting them in positions of authority and strength. Featured artists included Carole Feuerman, Ingrid Baars, Yvonne Michiels, Roos Van Der Vliet, Reisha Perlmutter, and Victoria Selbach, among others. The show occupied two floors of the gallery and included both abstract and representational works united by the theme of feminine power.
