Kenjiro Okazaki's first UK solo show at Pace London
Pace Gallery presents Kenjiro Okazaki's debut solo exhibition in the UK at its London space, running from June 5 to August 7. Titled 'Never could be any other way — anagnorisis', the show features sculptures, large-scale paintings, and works from his Zero Thumbnail series. The title references a phrase from The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) and Aristotle's term anagnorisis from the Poetics, both pointing to the same concept central to Okazaki's forthcoming book 'The Discovery of Art: Conditions'.
