Kemper Museum receives $1M from Stanley J. Bushman Foundation for youth education

A generous donation of $1 million has been made to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City by the Stanley J. Bushman Foundation. This contribution will create the Stanley J. Bushman Fund for Youth Education, which will provide continuous support for educational initiatives aimed at young people. Stanley J. Bushman, a seasoned real estate expert who collaborated with Charles Helzberg for more than 60 years, has consistently supported the museum. In 2018, they jointly financed the establishment of the Teen Arts Council at the Kemper Museum. The newly established fund is intended to broaden access to arts programs and cultivate emerging artists and leaders. Bill Gautreaux, the board of trustees' chair, expressed gratitude for the donation.
