KD House Renovation in Szczecin Features Central Wooden Cube Design

The KD House in Szczecin, Poland, underwent an interior renovation led by designers Anna Paszkowski-Thurow and Krzysztof Paszkowski-Thurow of Anna Thurow Studio. Their approach centered on a multifunctional wooden cube that serves as the home's focal point, incorporating a walk-in closet, pantry, and concealed television area. The design employs natural oak veneers and black granite surfaces, alongside custom elements like bronze lighting and specialized hardware. This project received second prize in the residential category at Casalgrande Padana's GrandPrix competition, recognized for its integration of porcelain stoneware tiles that enhance the spatial continuity.
