Kasalla Marks 15 Years with New Album and Arena Shows

Kölschrock band Kasalla celebrates their 15th anniversary in 2026 with two concerts at Cologne's LANXESS Arena on October 16 and 17, expected to draw 30,000 attendees. The band releases their new album "Trone un Konfetti" on the day of the first show, following the same strategy as their 2022 album "Rudeldiere." The album is described as a gift to fans, blending joy and sorrow as noted by Nils Plum. The band's biggest confetti moment was their 2022 stadium concert with 41,000 people after pandemic delays, while the darkest hour came in May 2023 when crew member Tom died in an accident. Kasalla was founded around a kitchen table at 3 a.m., combining music with the Cologne dialect. They have collaborated with Eko Fresh and Ludwig Sebus, and Feine Sahne Fischfilet will perform at the anniversary concerts. Future collaboration wishes include Dave Grohl and Bosse.
