Jugnoo Cabin by PMA madhushala in Sloping Resort Site

architecture-design · 2026-06-11

PMA madhushala has completed the Jugnoo Cabin, a 35 m² retreat nestled into a steeply sloping site with gradients up to 30 degrees at an existing resort in India. The client, Rahul Khondekar of Bamboo and Bricks, initially wanted treehouses but structural constraints led to units placed between trees to preserve the landscape. The design team includes Bhavesh Murpani, Divya Jyoti, and Prasanna Morey, with fabrication by Rakhunde and team, carpentry by Govind Mourya, and jacuzzi by Navnath Ladkat. Photographs by Onil Shah. Completion year is 2026.
