Juan Arreaza's Sangre Blanca Tackles Cocaine Realities in Colombia

Colombian artist Juan Arreaza, known for his work with indigenous communities and a role in Netflix's One Hundred Years of Solitude, launches Sangre Blanca to address cocaine production and trafficking in Colombia. The project partners with Danish photographer Mads Nissen, a World Press Photo winner. Arreaza has previously published books including Mapiripán, Complex Colombia, and Between Songs and Cries, and been featured by the Etnollano Foundation and the International Cooperation Agency. Sangre Blanca aims to challenge romanticized views of cartel leaders while shedding light on Colombia's complex realities.
