Joan Eardley's Catterline Seascapes Exhibited at Granary Gallery

Joan Eardley: The Sea at Catterline, a significant exhibition, has launched at The Granary Gallery in Berwick-upon-Tweed, in collaboration with The Fleming Collection. This showcase highlights the striking seascapes of Joan Eardley (1921–1963), a unique British artist recognized for her unflinching depictions of street children in Glasgow. Her seascapes draw inspiration from Catterline, a fishing village located south of Aberdeen, where she resided during her later years. This exhibition is part of the RSA Celebrating Together Project, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Royal Scottish Academy.
