Jette Nietzard criticizes Green Party's masculinity manifesto

Jette Nietzard, former co-chair of the Green Youth, has criticized the Green Party's proposed 'masculinity manifesto' aimed at attracting young male voters through activities like boxing and weightlifting. In an interview with Der Freitag, she argued that the document perpetuates patriarchal discourse and fails to address the real issues facing young men. The manifesto, initially reported by Der Spiegel, was drafted by 13 party members and has drawn backlash from within the party. Earlier, playwright Bernd Stegemann also condemned the initiative, calling it a ridiculous attempt to appeal to outdated masculine stereotypes. Nietzard's critique adds to growing internal dissent over the party's strategy.
