Jenn Hyland Appointed as Aperture's Director of Development

Jenn Hyland has been promoted to Director of Development at Aperture after nearly four years with the organization. In an interview with editor Michael Famighetti, Hyland discussed her initial connection to Aperture through the Winter 2016 'On Feminism' magazine issue, which featured intersectional perspectives. She highlighted influential works from that issue including Julia Bryan-Wilson's article and Andrea Bowers's Trans Liberation series. Hyland expressed enthusiasm for Aperture's upcoming relocation to 380 Columbus Avenue, designed by architects LEVENBETTS, which will provide enhanced community spaces. She also noted recent publications she admires, including Myriam Boulos's 'What's Ours' and Coreen Simpson's monograph.
