Jaume Plensa's 'Beyond Silence' Opens at GRAY Chicago and New York

This fall, GRAY gallery will showcase two solo exhibitions by Jaume Plensa at its locations in Chicago and New York. 'Jaume Plensa: Beyond Silence' opens on September 17 at GRAY Chicago, marking the artist's tenth solo exhibition with the gallery. This display features large carved-wood reliefs, vertical sculptures made of cast iron and granite, along with smaller bronze pieces, all highlighting scale and material in Plensa's work. Central to the exhibition are two significant carved-wood reliefs, 'Beyond Silence (Julia)' and 'Beyond Silence (Maria)', each spanning twenty-eight feet. The exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the human experience. Meanwhile, GRAY New York will present additional works, further illustrating Plensa's artistic exploration. Both exhibitions will be available throughout the fall.
