Italian Museums Reopen in Yellow Zone with Major Contemporary Art Shows

Starting April 26, Italy will reimpose 'yellow zone' restrictions, permitting a phased reopening of museums. FMAV Fondazione Modena Arti Visive will unveil four exhibitions, featuring Willie Doherty and the finale of the Premio Davide Vignali. In Turin, new exhibitions will debut at GAM, MAO, and Palazzo Madama, including 'Viaggio controcorrente' and 'Sul principio di contraddizione.' MAO will extend 'China goes Urban' until June 13, while Palazzo Madama will showcase the World Press Photo Exhibition 2021 beginning May 7. PAC Milano will reopen, prolonging Luisa Lambri's 'Autoritratto' until September 19. The Collezione Peggy Guggenheim will reopen on April 28, followed by Castello di Rivoli on April 29, and Villa Medici in Rome on April 28. Additionally, Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea and MAXXI in Rome will present new exhibitions, and Triennale Milano will reopen with 'Museo del Design Italiano.'
