Italian-American Art Circle debuts 'Radici/Roots' exhibition exploring diaspora identity at Glenview Mansion Art Gallery

From March 30 to May 8, 2026, the Glenview Mansion Art Gallery in Rockville will present a unique exhibition titled 'Radici/Roots: Celebrating Italian Creativity in the USA.' This event is organized by the Italian-American Art Circle and curated by Federica Giove. The showcase features the artwork of eleven Italian artists living in the U.S., including Giove herself, Andrea Limauro, Antonella Manganelli, and others. Their paintings, photographs, and sculptures delve into themes of nostalgia and cultural exchange. There are also two open calls for students from Maryland's Walt Whitman High School and Italian artists in the DMV area. A 'Meet the Artists' event is scheduled for April 19, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, promoting engagement and discussion on modern emigration and Italian identity.
