Israeli strikes kill 6 in Gaza, including 9-year-old girl

On Sunday, at least six individuals were reported dead in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli attacks, according to Palestinian health officials. Among the deceased was a 9-year-old girl named Tala Abu Matar, who was killed by gunfire aimed at a tent encampment in the Al-Bureij refugee camp's eastern area. The Israeli military claimed it was unaware of this incident. An airstrike targeting a metal foundry in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood resulted in four fatalities, with witnesses noting that three Israeli missiles struck the location. The military asserted it targeted "terrorist" infrastructure. Additionally, since Thursday, Israeli forces have killed at least two Hamas fighters in northern Gaza. Later that day, an Israeli strike in Khan Younis’ Mawasi area resulted in one death and several injuries, including children. Currently, nearly all of Gaza's 2 million residents are living in makeshift tents or damaged structures along the coast. Mediators continued discussions to maintain the US-brokered ceasefire.
