Isabelle Adjani's fraud sentence reduced on appeal

French actress Isabelle Adjani, 71, has been sentenced on appeal to ten months in prison with a suspended sentence for aggravated tax fraud. The Paris Court of Appeal reduced the sentence from the original two years with a suspended sentence and a €250,000 fine imposed in first instance. Adjani was found guilty of fictitiously establishing her tax residence in Portugal in 2016 and 2017 to avoid French taxes. She has announced she will appeal to the Court of Cassation.
