Iran do Espírito Santo Retrospective at Mazzoleni Gallery in Milan

Galleria Mazzoleni in Milan is presenting a retrospective exhibition titled 'Tracciare il pensiero. 2002–2025' featuring Brazilian artist Iran do Espírito Santo. The show includes both historical and new works, highlighting the artist's two-decade exploration of light, scale, and the tension between concept and material. Notable pieces include oversized sculptures of measuring tools like 'Compasso' (2025) and 'Metro' (2025), as well as the granite work 'Senza titolo (Buco della serratura)' (2002). The exhibition also features a vertical series of drawings called 'Tende' (2025). The artist's works, which transform everyday objects into conceptual forms, are held in major museum collections including MAXXI and MoMA.
