Ioannes Spring 2027 Salon Presentation in Berlin Mitte

other · 2026-07-06

Designer Johannes Boehl Cronau presented his Ioannes spring 2027 collection, Salon 01, in his fourth-floor walk-up apartment in Berlin's Mitte neighborhood. The salon-style show featured 16 black-and-white looks made from monochromatic jersey, lace, and washed silk, with occasional bright bras and a print created by scorching wood and screen-printing the charred texture onto fabric. Cronau aimed to reject traditional runway shows and overproduction, opting for an intimate, personal presentation that referenced historical salons where women expressed opinions and accessed power. The apartment was decorated by Tor Studio with colorful dahlias and calla lilies, and food in deep pink and purple hues. The collection will be sold direct-to-consumer or through a smaller network of boutiques. Cronau revisited his archives, deconstructing and reconstructing pieces to merge past and future.
