Iluvatar CoreX Unveils Tiangai 300 IXL144 Supernode With 144 GPUs in One Cabinet

ai-technology · 2026-10-13

On Monday, during the 2026 China International Industry Fair (CIIF) in Shanghai, Iluvatar CoreX, a Chinese AI chip manufacturer, unveiled its inaugural supernode system, the Tiangai 300 IXL144. This single-cabinet system is equipped with 144 graphics processing units (GPUs) and 18 central processing units (CPUs), boasting approximately 10.1 terabytes of memory, which the company claims sets an industrial benchmark. Iluvatar CoreX aims this design at extensive AI model training and inference, highlighting a 40 percent reduction in costs per 1 million valid tokens compared to what it refers to as mainstream global alternatives. As demand for AI rises and US export restrictions limit access to advanced Nvidia chips, supernodes that integrate computation, storage, networking, management, and software frameworks are becoming a preferred method for enhancing computing capabilities.
