IFPDA's Prints & Drawings Month Explores New Curatorial Models for Works on Paper
In October, the International Fine Prints & Drawings Association (IFPDA) is celebrating its annual Prints & Drawings Month, highlighted by "Drawn Together: Collections in Conversation" on October 19. Curators Claire Spadafora Baes from LACMA, Jun Nakamura from Princeton University Art Museum, and James Wehn from Chazen Museum of Art will engage in discussions regarding the reevaluation of how prints and drawings are displayed in museums. This year marks the inaugural inclusion of drawings in the IFPDA's previously titled Print Month. Additional activities include a session at the Metropolitan Museum focused on Marie Bracquemond, a study day dedicated to Volcxken Diericx, and a Rembrandt pairing at the Morgan Library & Museum.
