Ibsen's Doll's House Reversed: Male Perspective in New Production

A new production of Henrik Ibsen's 'A Doll's House', directed by Ivonne Capece and adapted by Mattia Favaro, picks up the story exactly where the original ends. The play, produced by Elsinor, had its national premiere at Teatro Fontana in Milan, running until June 14, and will be revived in the next season. The adaptation retains the original text but shifts the point of view to the male character, offering a reversed perspective on Nora's departure. The famous slamming door, one of theater's most iconic sounds, is the starting point for this reinterpretation.
