Ian Cobiella's 'All I Have I Give' Blends Classical Piano with Cuban Percussion

Ian Cobiella, an artist from Los Angeles, has unveiled a five-track EP named "All I Have I Give," which fuses elements of classical piano with alternative pop, EDM, indie rock, and syncopated Cuban rhythms. Growing up with parents who immigrated from Cuba and Bolivia, Cobiella learned to play the cello on a rented instrument due to financial limitations that made hiring a string section impossible. He recorded the cello segments himself and created a live session in the East Los Angeles studio of Cuban artist Enrique Martínez Celaya. The EP conveys its immigrant themes through effort rather than words, showcasing a determination to succeed. Songs like "Have I Been Good To You" incorporate salsa, while "Honey" features only solo piano, maintaining a classical essence throughout.
