IAACC Pablo Serrano Opens Third Edition of Pablo Serrano/Juana Francés Artistic Creation and Production Project

The IAACC Pablo Serrano has launched the third call for its Pablo Serrano/Juana Francés Artistic Creation and Production Project, seeking an original, unpublished artistic proposal. Selected through a minor service contract, the winning artist will receive up to 5,000 euros (taxable base) and may use a workshop space at the institution's headquarters at Paseo María Agustín nº 20 in Zaragoza, Spain. The contract period runs from May 11 to November 30, 2026. Proposals must be submitted by April 20, 2026, at 14:00 hours, preferably via the IAACC website. Required documentation includes a CV, a detailed project description (maximum 10 pages), a motivation letter, and a declaration of the project's originality and lack of prior exhibition or funding. Evaluation criteria prioritize the CV (up to 4 points), the project's conceptual strength and innovation (up to 2 points each), viability (up to 1 point), and the offered price (up to 1 point). Upon completion, a temporary exhibition of the work may be organized within the IAACC Pablo Serrano, excluding permanent collection galleries. The artist must collaborate with the center's communication efforts and, if using the workshop, participate in public open days to showcase progress.
