Hyperallergic released its seasonal tarotscope for the Summer Solstice, crafted by AX Mina, a contributor and producer of the Five and Nine podcast. Utilizing the Mixed Signals Tarot deck, created by artist M Eilo on the Moonlight platform, the reading was conducted on the Northern Hemisphere's longest day. This event aligns with the sixth month of the Wheel of Fortune Year and the fifth month of the Horse Year in East and Southeast Asian lunar calendars. The collective reading features a 'Getting Unstuck' spread, where The Star serves as the Blocker card, symbolizing mystery through an illustration of the Milky Way. The Spark card, the Seven of Swords, signifies a release of creative potential. Individual zodiac readings include: Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) with Nine of Swords reversed; Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) with Seven of Stones reversed; Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) with Temperance; and Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) with Learner of Cups reversed.
