Hyejeong Ko's Silver Shadows at Galerie Maria Wettergren

From September 4 to October 31, 2026, Galerie Maria Wettergren in Paris will showcase "Silver Shadows," a solo exhibition featuring the work of South Korean artist Hyejeong Ko. Renowned for her sculptures crafted from sterling silver, Ko draws inspiration from Jeju, her volcanic island birthplace. Her creations, which include representations of dandelions, pebbles, sea urchins, and streams, transform organic shapes into radiant, otherworldly art. Rather than merely replicating nature, Ko’s pieces embody the principles of Taoist Wu Wei, promoting effortless action and a harmonious relationship with the environment. This exhibition emphasizes her distinctive manipulation of materials and forms, inviting viewers to engage deeply with the essence of nature.
