HYDRA Project Merges Art, Fashion and Sustainability in Milan Exhibition

exhibition · 2026-03-28

The HYDRA initiative, an artistic project exploring sustainable fashion through collaboration between artists, fashion schools, and humanitarian organizations, was successfully presented in Milan. Created by Simone Botte of Simon Cracker, visual arts lecturer Mira Wanderlust, and artist Luca MR with participation from Humana People to People Italia, the project involved five Italian fashion schools. Student installations using garments from Humana's selection center were displayed in Humana store windows, while a key event at MiArt Gallery featured works by Wanderlust and Luca MR alongside student creations. The project aims to promote ethical consumption and circular economy principles, with proceeds supporting Humana's Youth Academy program in Zambia for former street children.
