Huntington Library explores damage and lunar fascination in dual exhibitions

The Huntington Library presents two exhibitions in the third iteration of "Stories from the Library" series. "Damaged Goods" and "The Mirror of the Moon" are on view in the Huntington Art Gallery's Large Library and Focus Gallery. The exhibitions draw from rare materials across the Huntington's collections. "Damaged Goods" examines stories revealed by damage, mistakes, and acts of erasure. "The Mirror of the Moon" traces the moon's role in science, navigation, literature, art, and imagination. Together, they show how Library collections illuminate human experience from unexpected angles.
