Hudson River Museum to Showcase Black Cowboys and Heroic Portraiture
On May 29, 2026, the Hudson River Museum located in Yonkers, New York, will unveil two exhibitions that celebrate Black culture and life. The first, "Black Cowboys in America: Photographs by Ron Tarver," marks the initial museum showcase of Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Ron Tarver's work, capturing Black cowboys in various environments, including ranches, rodeos, and urban areas.
