Houston's Health Museum Seeks Artworks Exploring Fatherhood for Juried Exhibition
The Health Museum in Houston has issued an open call for its upcoming juried exhibition titled 'The Fatherhood Effect.' This exhibition, part of the museum's Healing Arts Program established by artist Rose Tylinski in 2024, aims to examine the personal realities of fatherhood and challenge conventional stereotypes by highlighting emotional bonds and shared caregiving duties. The museum invites artists aged 18 and above from the Greater Houston Area to submit two-dimensional works such as paintings, drawings, photographs, digital art, or mixed media, with each piece not exceeding 36 inches in any dimension. At least 20 selected artworks will be displayed from August through January 2027. Submissions are due by April 19.
